Richard and Alec Gordon
Phineas Rose Wood Joinery is a multi-generational family business run by Richard Gordon and his son Alec. Richard began his artistic direction 50 years ago studying antiques from cultures around the world. Finding similarities between wooden construction techniques from Colonial America to ancient Egypt. Richard made the decision to focus on traditional hand work to create his own contemporary designs. Growing up around the arts and trained by his father, Alec continues to develop new design concepts for Phineas Rose Wood Joinery while emphasizing the successful techniques of the past.
