The Virginia Clay Festival is held annually in the town of Stanardsville in beautiful Greene County, Virginia. This festival is an art show celebrating the creative possibilities of clay and is a gathering of Virginia finest potters, sculptors and jewelers selling their work. Demonstrations by artists, live acoustic music, play-with-clay children's area, and artisan food trucks enhance this event. Virginia Clay Festival: September 16 & 17, 2023. With over 120 Fine Artists and Contemporary Craft Artisans exhibiting from around the country, the Crozet Arts and Crafts Festivals are Central Virginia's premier juried Arts and Crafts event. The Festivals take place twice annually - in May and October - and feature local food, Virginia wine and beer, live music from local performers, children's activities, and more at beautiful Claudius Crozet Park in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. The 32nd annual 43rd Street Festival of the ArtsSeptember 19, 2023, is a juried show of fine crafts and art featuring local and regional artisans. This RVA neighborhood festival, which is a fundraiser for Caritas, showcases a unique selection of contemporary art and food. Free and open to the public.



The Visual Arts Center of Richmond's 59th Annual CRAFT + DESIGN show is live and in person this year, November 17–19, 2023 at Main Street Station. This showcase of the finest in contemporary craft will feature the work of artists from across the nation!
