John Pluta
John Pluta uses clay combined with wood and vintage objects to make sculptures of imaginative characters and creatures. Since 2001, John & his wife, Holly, have been sculpting and making pottery as Noon Whistle Pottery, a shop representing 220 American artisans in Stanardsville, Virginia. In 2015, John and Holly launched the Virginia Clay Festival with the help of Greene County Tourism.
