John Pluta uses clay combined with wood and vintage objects to make sculptures of imaginative creatures. John and his wife, Holly, own Noon Whistle Pottery, a shop representing 225 American artisans in Stanardsville, Virginia, and they organize the Virginia Clay Festival.
