Holly Horan hand-builds pottery that becomes her canvas for slip-trailing decorative patterns and animals. Holly and her husband, John Pluta, own Noon Whistle Pottery, a shop located in Stanardsville representing 220 American artisans. They also organize the Virginia Clay Festival with Greene County Tourism.

The Artisans Studio Tour is an annual open studio tour, featuring high quality artisans and their work during the weekend of November 7 & 8, 2016. Some of Virginia’s finest crafts will be on display, including pottery, furniture, weaving, fabric design, jewelry, stained glass, wood turning, and quilting.
