Richard Gordon has been making furniture by hand since 1977. His work combines traditional joinery techniques with original, contemporary designs. All of the pieces are made of solid wood, including cherry, walnut, maple, and oak. The wood is finished with tung oil, which is rubbed on by hand one coat at a time. No stains are used, so the natural color of the wood is seen and a beautiful patina develops over time. Each piece of furniture is made individually and is guaranteed to last.
