The Virginia Clay Festival is held annually in the town of Stanardsville in beautiful Greene County, Virginia. This festival is an art show celebrating the creative possibilities of clay and is a gathering of Virginia finest potters, sculptors and jewelers selling their latest work. Demonstrations by artists, live acoustic music, play-with-clay children's area, and artisan food trucks enhance this event. Crozet Arts and Crafts Festival takes place twice a year and center around the Juried Art Show along with entertainment for the whole family. Great food and some of the best local wines are becoming a larger attraction each year. Entertainment is diverse and reflects the melting pot of tastes found in Central Virgina. The 16Hands Studio Tour has been occurring twice yearly since 1998 on Thanksgiving Weekend and the first weekend in May. Come on down to Floyd, Virginia and experience the beauty of the region, authentic Appalachian music, great wineries and local cuisine. There are seven studio locations decked out to welcome you with food and drink and fine quality craftsmanship from members and invited artists.
