“I design and make classical custom furniture, mostly smaller decorated pieces to complete a room. These jewelry boxes and armoires, display cases, and tables reflect the tastes and needs of the customer. We develop the design together, to suit the room and the vision. Often the work is something neither of us envisioned at the start.

I use solid woods, veneers, brass, and fine cloth, with traditional construction techniques to evoke heirloom quality and feel. Marquetry or carving can be used to embellish surfaces and personalize pieces. Both materials and techniques are chosen to make the customer’s vision real.

I will have a limited number of jewelry cases on display, either for purchase or (if you’d like) as a starting point for a custom piece.

I also make smaller gift items: small jewelry boxes, display or keepsake boxes, marquetry pictures, and serving boards that are “too pretty to use” but will provide solid service for decades.”
